How Do I Ship My Device to RELECTRO?

Should I backup my Device before getting it repaired?

Backing up your device before sending it in for repair provides the highest level of protection for your data. For the most up-to-date instructions on how to backup your Device, consult your manufacturer’s website, carrier instruction or owner’s manual for the simplest solution.

I don’t want to lose my photos and music. Can they be saved?

Yes, if you follow your owner’s manual or carrier instructions to properly back up the contents of your Device. This should provide the highest level of protection and is highly recommended before shipping in your device.

How do I know my Device will not be compromised?

The safety and security of your property is extremely important to us. The following measures are present at our facility to ensure your device is returned to you unharmed: there are security cameras at all access points, metal detectors, rigorous background screening of employees, and security guard(s) onsite.

Will I void my WARRANTY if I don’t send my Device back to the manufacturer?

If you have a device with a physically broken screen or any other accidental damage, your device’s limited warranty is most likely already voided, but always check with your Original Equipment Manufacturer. Service providers may try to convince you to buy a new device instead of repairing it. Repair shops offering post-WARRANTY repairs will always do what they can to fix your device so you don’t have to buy a new one—and many times, repairing your device will be cheaper and easier than replacing it.

What happens if my Device cannot be fixed?

You will be contacted if the damage to your device is irreversible, or if the damage is extensive and requires additional repair Services. If your device is damaged beyond repair, we will give you the following options: we can ship your device back to you with a $15 diagnostic charge or you can choose to recycle your device through us for free.

What if I don’t know what is wrong with my Device?

It’s okay, that is what we are here for. Simply select “not sure” on your repair form and we will run a diagnostic test on your device to assess what needs to be repaired. Provide as much detail as you can about the issue. If we diagnose the issue and can repair your device, we will notify you with the cost of the repair. You may either accept the charges and we will continue with the repair or you may choose to have the device shipped back unrepaired and a standard $15 diagnostic fee will apply.

How long will I be without my Device?

We typically can fix your Device within as little as a few hours or a few business days of receiving it. Phones, tablets and wearables can be completed in as little as 8-24 hours. Chromebooks and Laptops may take 5-10 business days.
